STAFF POOL

The Macquarie University Enterprise Agreement 2006-2009 provides for a pool of Staff to be elected for the purpose of establishing:

• Unsatisfactory Performance Review Committee (UPRC) [Ref: Clause 4.20.10];
• Misconduct Investigation Committee (MIC) [Ref: Clause 4.21.19]; and
• Redundancy Review Committee (RCC) [Ref: Clause 6.2.21].

Members of the pool may be selected for one or more of the above named committees. The decision to include an individual pool member will be made by the Staff Member who is affected by the Committee.

On 6 December 2006, continuing and fixed-term Staff Members were invited to nominate for the pool. The Director, Human Resources received 24 eligible nominations.

Nominations were forwarded to the Staff Consultative Committee (SCG) for the purpose of election. On 14 December 2006, the SCG moved to elect all nominees without exception.
