TIME TO APPLY FOR PROBATIONARY REVIEW - SECOND ROUND 1999
Academic staff are invited to apply for probationary review in
the second round for 1999. Academic staff who have now completed
two years or more on probation will be eligible to apply. Academic
staff whose probation period runs out before the first round of
probation review in May 2000 will need to submit applications
in this round. Heads of Divisions have lists of their staff currently
on probation.
Policy documents and forms are available from Heads of Divisions and on the web at http://www.pers.mq.edu.au/PMH/10/index.html.
Applications must be made on the Application for Review of Probation (form 10.01a) with the Formal Report for Probation Committee attached (form 10.01b) along with all Annual Probation Report forms.
Applicants should refer to Probation for Academic Staff in Tenurable Positions (Section 10.01), or Probation for Academic Staff in Convertible Positions (Section 10.01a) policies for further details.
Applicants who wish to provide SETS will need to arrange to have them forwarded from CPD to the Committee. Applicants undertaking higher degrees will also need to organise a progress report from their supervisor to be sent to the Committee.
All staff are encouraged to seek assistance and counselling from their supervisor, Head of Department and/or Head of Division regarding the format and timing of applications.
Seven (7) copies of the entire application must be provided to
the Personnel Office by the closing date on Tuesday, 31 August 1999. Late applications will not be accepted.
Enquiries should be directed to Anne Micallef (ext. 9785) or Sue Verdich (ext. 9701) in the Personnel Office.
